Dr Rebecca Mackenzie-Proctor is a CREI-trained fertility specialist, gynaecologist and advanced laparoscopic surgeon based in Melbourne. She works closely with GPs and referrers to provide streamlined, evidence-based care across fertility, reproductive endocrinology and benign gynaecology - supporting patients locally and regionally, including those accessing telehealth and the Riverina IVF program.

Telehealth enables early assessment and timely investigation, which is particularly valuable for fertility planning, cycle scheduling and pre-treatment optimisation. Local investigations can be organised through GP networks and results uploaded securely prior to review.
Many fertility treatments and management plans can be actioned remotely to reduce the need to travel to Melbourne or Wagga Wagga.
Urgent telehealth appointments can be prioritised for:
Suspected ovarian insufficiency
Rapid fertility preservation prior to chemotherapy or surgery
Severe endometriosis / escalating pelvic pain
Recurrent pregnancy loss
Cycle-dependent IVF/FET planning

Dr Mackenzie-Proctor is available for consultations for patients undergoing Riverina IVF treatment in Wagga Wagga, offering streamlined cross-site care including:
Pre-treatment fertility assessment & work-up via telehealth or in-person
IVF cycle planning and counselling
Review of investigations, imaging, semen analysis and ultrasound
Management of complex or advanced fertility presentations
Ongoing care coordination between Wagga Wagga and Melbourne teams
This pathway supports Riverina and regional NSW patients in receiving high-level IVF expertise while minimising travel burden. Letters, cycle notes and plans are shared with referring GPs to maintain smooth communication and continuity.
